These stylish wedding invitations were designed by the wedding couple. The theme was nature inspired and we agreed to use specialty paper to laser etch and cut the succulent plant design for the invitations. In addition to the wedding invitations, SEARCH+RESQ was commissioned to design a custom wood wall clock, which would replace the traditional “guest sign-in” book where guests would be asked to sign and write directly on the piece of wood.
Drawing inspiration from their wedding theme, we laser etched the succulent graphic and integrated the names of the couple in the location of the numbers five & fifteen, which correlates to the date of their wedding on May 15 and anytime the clock reads 5:15 am/pm, it will remind the couple of their special day of ceremony. This one-of-a-kind wedding gift was presented to the bride by one of the family members. The photographic image of the newlyweds was laser etched on a painted wood panel and a walnut frame that integrates the filigree detail elements from the couple’s wedding invitation. This custom wedding gift was presented to the bride by one of the family members. The family was inspired by similar products we designed; SEARCH+RESQ was commissioned to create a memorable wall clock integrating the butterfly theme from the wedding. Our custom designed wedding clocks substitute the numbers in correlation to the date of the wedding. For example, in this case, the numbers of the clock in the location of eleven, two and three are laser etched to symbolize the date of the wedding on November 23 in combination with the graphic imagery of the butterflies.
