ABOUT THIS PROJECT

SEARCH+RESQ collaborated with GAP Inc. to design and create an immersive interior installation for the brand's San Francisco headquarters, exploring the connection between heritage, technology, and storytelling.

With creative direction from SEARCH+RESQ, the project reimagined GAP's cultural legacy through a combination of sculptural forms, digital media, and carefully curated artifacts from the company's history. Inspired by the iconic lowercase "gap" logo, the installation transformed the brand's visual language into a physical experience that celebrates the evolution of denim, design, and popular culture.

The final installation features two large-scale curved wall sculptures integrated with digital media elements, vintage hardware, collectible objects, and curated GAP denim pieces. Each component was thoughtfully arranged to create a layered narrative—connecting the brand's analog past with its contemporary identity.

Through the integration of storytelling, material exploration, and experiential design, SEARCH+RESQ helped transform GAP's workplace environment into a space that reflects the creativity, heritage, and innovation behind one of the world's most recognizable brands.
