OXYTOCIN

Created as a personal material exploration, OXYTOCIN grew from offcuts and remnants collected from previous projects and kept in the studio for experimentation.
Without a predetermined composition, the discarded fragments were layered, rearranged, and allowed to suggest new relationships through color, transparency, form, and shadow. The chemical structure of oxytocin—often associated with connection and bonding—is laser-etched into one of the acrylic elements, becoming a subtle detail discovered within the larger composition.
The piece reflects an ongoing part of my creative practice: using these quiet, meditative exercises to revisit familiar materials without a client brief or expected outcome, allowing new processes and ideas to emerge through making.
