SEARCH+RESQ was commissioned by an advertising agency to design and fabricate a series of custom awards for a Nike-sponsored skateboarding competition in Los Angeles.

The collection included five dimensional trophies, ten additional awards, and a dozen brick awards—each designed and fabricated specifically for the event.

And for the skaters who didn't make the finals? They got a brick. Literally. A custom brick fitted with a brass plaque reading “THANKS FOR NOTHING!”—a playful nod to having “bricked” at the competition and the irreverent spirit of skate culture.
