KNIVES OUT SALON
Brand Identity + Signage
Design + Fabrication + Installation

SEARCH+RESQ designed and fabricated a custom dimensional sign for Knives Out Salon in Los Angeles’ Arts District, translating the salon’s identity and its surroundings into a sculptural wall installation.

Inspired by the familiar form of a comb, the varying heights of its teeth reference the Downtown Los Angeles skyline, creating a bold graphic silhouette across the wall. Dimensional lettering spelling Los Angeles completes the installation, connecting the identity back to the city that inspired it.
